Casey Bryan’s practice encompasses all aspects of business transactions with an emphasis on secured lending, distressed debt restructuring, lease financing, and corporate formation and governance.  He has extensive experience advising organizations on business and legal issues across a multitude of industries and is skilled at negotiating and collaborating with executives, directors, and other counsel to achieve optimal results for clients.  Casey has represented clients in matters related to consumer finance, real estate, insurance, licensing, technology, healthcare, and entertainment and gaming, among other areas.

Casey negotiated and drafted dealership car share service agreements for a leading automobile manufacturer, including agreements covering asset purchase and licensing, master supplier, statements of work, business process outsourcing, professional services, financial services compliance, white label development, website accessibility, hosted software, and fleet garaging and servicing.

Casey also represented two prominent utility companies for the evaluation of business and real estate assets, including performing due diligence, consulting with experts, negotiating agreements, participating in mediations and arbitrations, and reviewing financial reporting documents.  He also assisted a team of attorneys to review and analyze residential mortgage-backed securitizations and their constituent underlying loan pools, including the repurchase and put-back of loans, which resulted in a series of multimillion dollar recoveries for the investors.  In addition, Casey represented a real estate investment, development, and management company with corporate governance and compliance matters.  As part of that engagement, he assisted with the preparation of corporate records, drafting of shareholder agreements, and revision of company policies and procedures.

Prior to his legal career, Casey was a consultant for KPMG LLP, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, and Standard & Poor’s, providing companies with business and asset valuations for the purposes of financial reporting, mergers and acquisitions, bankruptcy filings, litigation support, tax and strategic planning purposes, and business restructuring and reorganizations.  He also has restructured corporate debt for distressed and bankrupt restaurant franchisees.  Additionally, Casey has worked on numerous asset-backed securities deals performing collateral analysis and bond structuring, as well as reviewing and preparing SEC filings, prospectus supplements, private placement memoranda, and preliminary term sheets.

In his free time, Casey enjoys hiking in the local mountains, competing in road and trail running races, volunteering in the community, and attending various cultural events.
