At DTO, we don’t pay lip service to diversity. We embody it.
In fact, our D&I efforts are so significant that, in 2021, Chambers named us the Outstanding US Law Firm for Diversity & Inclusion, beating out several BigLaw firms and notable boutiques across the entire country, and, in 2022, the California Lawyers Association recognized DTO as the winner of its law firm Diversity Award.
DTO is a certified minority-owned firm and a member of the National Association of Minority and Women Owned Law Firms (NAMWOLF). We are members of various organizations that promote diversity and inclusion in the legal field, such as the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD), the Cuban American Bar Association (CABA), the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA), the National LGBT Bar Association and Foundation, the LGBTQ+ Lawyers Association of Los Angeles, the Minority Corporate Counsel Association (MCCA), and the Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA). One of our founding partners serves on the Executive Council of LCLD. Our attorneys also speak regularly on diversity and inclusion-related topics.
